Boot/Get result/DiskInitial error 7%

Hi,

I'm having trouble flashing my Coolead box, S905x. I am using USB Burning tool v2.1.7.3 (I've also tried V3.1.0) I can connect to the box and start the process and it stops at 7% with the following error:

Boot/Get result/DiskInitial error

I've read that some boxes need the power adapter connected, tried this. with the same result. The only other thing I read is the USB lead needs to be short, mine is quite long. But is this really the issue?

Any other advice greatly appreciated.

I've managed to get passed this and can now download the img to the box. But when I connect to the TV nothing happens, the light comes on, but the screen is black? Could it be the img's I'm using?

My Box is an Amlogic s905x, or so it says on the box it came in. Any advice on where I can get the correct firmware? Thanks

what TV , try reconnect , some TVs have Problems with the Handshake ,

between Box and TV ,

best is to open up and look , for sure you must know what Wifichip is used ??? ,

maybe one of the many CustomRoms fit ,

Thanks I did manage to get one working, but is Android 7, and some apps aren’t compatible. I’ve downloaded lots of roms to try. Thanks for your help Neil

What did you do to make the download progress going well??
i have the sama uboot/getResult/DiskInitials error..
