So this device runs XBMC with H/W acceleration???

People have told me to stay away from RK3188 devices for XBMC usage, now i am completely confused as what to order lol. Does this device actually run XBMC with H/W acceleration, or should i stick with AMLOGIC for my XBMC needs???

These devices do work....

The following devices do work fine.

OUYA - Have one myself, works perfect with a sideloaded xbmc.
k-r42 - one in the mail, read about it, smooth streaming is confirmed to work.
Minix-x7 - read about it, smooth streaming is confirmed to work.

These 3 are especially good because they have build in ethernet, the smaller devices without native ethernet rely on wifi performance, which is another story, and full 1080p streaming via Wifi is challenging. Then people buy an USB ethernet adapter, and getting the right on that works is again a bit challenging, i would buy a device with build in ethernet if i where you.

There are other 3188 based devices that work also, but it all depends on the good people making custom roms. :-)
