mk808b problems

ok I just got this a few days ago, I was able to boot up and do some setting, however when I clicked on the home button the screen goes black, so me being me I decided to try some different firmware to no avail the same thing would happen or it just wouldn't, now I know how to flash a new rom etc, my device is rk 3066 chip with the rk 903 wifi and bluetooth and 1gb of ram and 8 gb of storage. Now I crack mine open, and it dosent have two antennas like the page says http://www.****.com/itm/111124930711...84.m1439.l2649 and it looks different. So I contacted the seller and he gave a link to the firmware which is mk808b v406j2403 which I put on, and yes it boots up but like again when I pressed the home button( or before I presss the sound settings)it goes blank. What gets me I can flash the img using batch tool by pressing upgrade the I ca reflash pressing the restore buttom and will boot back on but like I said if hit or miss with pressing button, I am using a mouse however I do have a air mouse etc. So basically I asking for any suggestion cuz I really don't want to ship it back to get a replacement or refund(china etc dont know how much it would cost) put the photo of the one I got

well I've tried every possible rom for this device and the only one that kinda works is the one that it came with. I can do all kinda settings but once I get wifi going it blacks out the screen, tried rebooting it a few times its a no go, so I have to reflash stock rom just to boot up again, my device has to be defective> So I sent a message to seller to see if he can resolve it by sending me one that works or refunding my money, the only thing is I would have to pay for shipping to get a new one sent...which kinda sucks

I find it very strange that the Home button causes a black screen, so you could be right that you have a defective device.One very widely known problem with the MK808/MK808B is that the power adapter that is provided is not high enough quality and won't provide enough power to the device as it needs. I have actually had good results powering the MK808B using the USB port on my TV, though many people claim that this won't provide enough power. I tried a bunch of different roms and the selller sent me a rom which supposedly was the original and I can set some things up but once I set up wifi it would black out screen, so I'm sending this one back for a refund and I order another one which looks like the original one showing on this forum. Wont be here until Wednesday or so. Thanks for the reply
