To access system folders, you could make a flashable package for recovery or TWRP. Instead, if you are not a programmer/dev, you must be rooted to access and copy/paste files.

Some programs(even if root not active) will see the root file structure and refuse to run.

Some testers have been successful replacing SU with Magisk and hiding root...others would have to help you in this regard.

Be sure how to "UnBrick" your China Box when testing!
Thank you very much ReaperMan! I will try following your instructions! Hug!

You would need recovery.img for our chip, based on TWRP or somehow convert this to recovery(?). Last recovery.img available was v3.4.0 upped by lyubodelev.
I tried to download the lyubodelev recovery image, but no longer there, even on your other post, thanks actually a temp twrp is all that is needed.

Greetings friends! I annoy you with a query ... Is it necessary to be root so that the x plore manager does not deny me access to certain folders? I ask this because I am trying to certify my device with the method "/data/data/com.android.vending/shared_prefs" and then change to true in "finsky.xml" and I can't get to that point. I have installed Slimbox 10.5 aosp which by default is not rooted. You have the option to select root in the Slimbox configuration, but I'm afraid I won't be able to unroot it again .... I prefer not to be root, I like it better .... I hope you can excuse my bad english .... Thank you very much in advance !!!
