How can I setup my VPN on my Android box?

    Hi all,
I have a VPN account with Astrill and I've followed their instructions to the letter, but I chill can't connect to it on my Minix X7. When I try to run their "profiles" I get a "Tun" warning, and then nothing happens.

Also, I'm having trouble because some apps (eg. BBC iPlayer) don't seem to recognise that I'm connected to the internet, through my Ethernet. They state that "I must connect to the internet."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Same issue here. Seems that VPN settings on Android wants the WIFI connection or mobile(3G/4G) There are hard written settings for WLAN0 all over and unless you hunt them down and change them to your LAN setting your going to run into this issue.

I would also make sure that the router you are using is setup correctly but I figured it would be if you have used a PC for this.

And for apps, yep some are stubborn and will not work on anything other than WIFI/mobile.

Yeah it's a bit annoying... An Ethernet connection works fine with some apps but not with others.

        Android VPN

Enjoyment, Fun and liveliness are few steps ahead now. The internet might have severed censorship impositions but still backdoor's can work very well and so does Android VPN. Tablets are new laptops and mobiles are new computers. So, why not enjoy every moment with it? Let other thoughts rest in peace and you do your best with complete access and security of internet with Android VPN at anyplace, anytime.
