live streams issue

I am still on the stock rom for the X7.

I have issues playing live streams from apps such as "Tamil TV - Live" ( just an example, I have tried dozens of apps ).

The streams work fine on my Samsung galaxy S3 and load in seconds but the X7 never loads them at all.

Is this a short coming of the default ROM?

Would using one of the ROM posted in this forum help?

Here the same story with live streaming from satellite, it only works with mx player and only with the pre 006 firmware from Minix. All the others don't work smooth. I 'll try a lot of roms and xbmc players versions , also justxbmc with the mxplayer build in. It don't work smooth.

I hope someone can fix this problem ...

I decided to move from the stock rom to the Finless 1.6 rom and had immediate success with the streams.
The streams that did not work do work now.

The only issue is that they stutter and are not smooth. In comparison, on my S3 there is no such issue and the streaming is without pause.
