Well, seems that open projects are reviving it in 2022:

• in Feb chewitt claimed in Official LE Test Images for Amlogic discussion that The "meson-gxm-q200.dtb" device-tree exists and should support most hardware.
• in Jun npjohnson claimed in his LineageOS 19.1 for Amlogic discussion GXL/GXM support is incoming

We do believe that can be a nice "second life" chance for those SoC-based devices.

Ye i kind of dead, at least for me since my job never stops going forward and we now focus on android 11/12 and newer chjps.
Ye i know but is not for me, i do not have the time to do it, i hardly have the time to do it for the new chips.
If i ever get nostalgic i might think on doing something for the s912 but more based on retro gaming we shall see!

...well, npjohnson's LOS distro is primary intended for "Amlogic G12*/SM1 Family Devices" too...

Beautiful! I am using your older rom scv7a for Alphawise H96 pro plus.

I customized slightly with ATV. Now that many tv apps are ATV friendly, I don't mind doing a bit of tweaking once more. Ha!

It's been years since flashing. What do I do? Ha!

I will keep an eye out for further work on this thread. Jus to recently I have been using Pie on my phone, and see a lot of good for upgrading from 7.1.2. Oreo never got my attention enough to move away from 7.1.2. But it's too hard to pass up on this. Glad you kept up on the 912 chip. I figured it would be forgotten by now. Ha!
