How to run twrp if no recovery?

I have a SBC board LIbre computers ive been messing with, it has pretty poor support. The 2 firmware files they have for the board i believe are adapted from tv boxes and neither work that great.

Like most SBC boards they are more designed i think for systems other then Android

Anyway another user found a version of android that works but it needs patched for somethings to work.

I cant seem to get into the recovery mode, it may not even have one? It does have a "uboot" button to put it into a mode for flashing the emmc module

The only way i know how to use TWRP is threw the recovery mode, is there another way to run TWRP?

When working with the pi4 there was a mode in the developer options called terminal but this version of android doesnt seem to have that, i think on the pi4 it was linage maybe only that system has the terminal?

Can i patch a file using the burning tool with an A-A usb cable?

Maybe boot TWRP from an SD card?

If you can get into bootloader, you can try to "fastboot flash" the recovery image.
