Q+ TV Box Scam? - or Unreasonably Suspicious!

Have flashed original firmware - that's what caused this problem.

Time to give up on it. Fixing it was a challenge - but have wasted too much time. Couldn't be bothered any more.

These boxes seem to be claimed by multiple "manufacturers".

Nice that they actually have a website compared to other generic boxes not having a website, still I believe Turewell is nothing more than a Vendor/Distributor and the OEM is JoinWe the lesser known name for the parent company of WeChip.

Anyways like Freddy said best Option is get a different box, sell, or give to kids.

Can experiment with LibreELEC, if you are familiar with the software they have nightly images made for H6 devices; software flashes to MicroSDcard and runs from the MicroSDcard you will be running the latest Kodi 19 nightly after it boots. See the LibreELEC forum for more info.

Had looked at OpenElec but not LibreELEC - might be fun - fits neatly with my 30+ years of unix/bsd/linux. Thanks for the heads up!
