    MK808b Finless 2.1 display problem

Just flashed my MK808b for the first time yesterday with the Finless 2.1 ROM. It boots with really pixelized graphics and once it's booted and running the screen continuously flashes between the display and a black screen. Input from my Measy RC12 keyboard/mouse is practically unresponsive so I can't get to any settings or anything to see what the problem might be.

MK808b original mini pc (not a clone)
Boot the 720 kernel from the Finless 2.1ROM Android 4.2.2

Any assistance would greatly be appreciated because I am just getting started with the mini-pc. I've googled this flashing video problem to death and couldn't find a solution.

EDIT: Forgot to mention the stock 4.2.2 that was pre-installed was working well so I know the unit is not defective.

I found the Finless 2.1 rom boots in 1080p (even though you flash the 720p files). If I boot while connected to a 1080p TV/monitor, then I can access settings and change display down to 720p. Then it will boot normally on a 720p monitor.

Your flashing video may be due to this inconsistency....

Thanks for the advice. The TV that I have the 808 connected to can indeed only do 720p.
