    Power supply for MK802 IV

    Hi all,

I have some issues with random reboots of my Rikomagic MK802IV.
It seems to be a power supply issue.

I am using the original delivered power supply (5V 2A).

I have an other one 5V 3A, can I use it with no risk on my device?

    Thanks a lot

Dont see why not, as long as its 5v that should be fine. More Amps the better. I upgraded my power supply with a 5v 3amp and it solved my reboot issues. The power supplies usually shipped with these devices are normally pretty useless and dont usually go up to the 2a they state.

      Thanks mate for the reply.
I thought the stick will be warmer with 3A. Is it the case?

Cant see why.....The stick will only draw the amps it requires. The only reason my Android stick got warm was because of overclocked Kernels.

I use old Pentium heatsinks attached with thermal pads. Works a treat!
