    Using an openwrt router with usb for usb-to-usb reverse tethering. I.e wired network connection without usb ethernet adapter

    Given the poor wifi performance in many android sticks and the many cheap and competent openwrt routers with usb ports availible, I would like to know if anyone has hooked his android stick up to the router via the usb ports directly. There would be no need for an usb ethernet adapter in this case. See:



    I think this or something similar would be very neat solution.

    There is no reverse tethering option in the settings of my mk908 with finless 1.6, but perhaps this could be made to work somehow.

    i dont think... usb is faster, then rj45

      I can't promise you it would be faster, but since both solutions use USB, they share that same bottle neck.
