Anyone order this box or have one? Don't see any custom ROMs yet, spec's look like Minix neo x7. Seems like a good box from the spec's and comes with a full size remote. Cheaper than a neo x7 by a good chunk of$.

yes,the cx-921 is a good tv box, we have posted the stock firmware here:

I hope some developer can have a look at the stock rom,and help to make a great custom roms.

First congratulations about your baby and please can you tell me what is the WiFi and bt chip in this stick? If anyone have free time I will try to make a custom rom mod for it and a cwm recovery for it.
I will need a tester for it.

I am going to wait for the custom ROMs to show up or move on and look at other Android pc s, i already made the mistake of buying a Minix neo x7 mini.

Im thinking about buying x7 mini why was it a mistake buying this? I too find the x7 and mini nice consept but price is way too high iI too rather have the ugoos cx921 or even the stick qc902 for half x7 price

There is no rom development for the mini x7, so for instance i have a powered usb hub and the minix stock rom doesn't like when i plug a external hard drive into it, it will shutdown and reboot, my mk808 with the last finless rom, no problem. Just one example but if there are any bugs in the factory rom for any of these boxes your out of luck unless the coders work with it, none for the mini x7 or the cx921 so far, my 2¢

If you need a tester

I will test any roms. I bought two of these. Eventually they are both going to be picuntu boxes (one already is) but I would be willing to test android out before flashing the second one to ubuntu. Still trying to find the correct wifi driver for picuntu.

CX921 linux working network needed

Hi all, this is my first post here so please remove this reply to the correct place if it's wrong.
I had this device

totaly bricked and then i gave it to a familiar to me service person and guest what? He fix it with a small fee! He told me that he desolder the nand chip and reprograming it. He managed also to put picuntu 13.0.4. inside. But there is one problem:
I want this device to have linux to install a bitcoin mining software and use it as a miner for my bfl labs mining device i have.
The problem is that i can't so far managed to have a working network (either wired or wireless)
Is it a way to do some tests?
Does anybody managed to fix this networking problem?
TIA
