I'm running an MK808B with Finless 1.7c. I don't want to upgrade to finless 2.0 because of all the instabilities I hear about with 4.2.2. My 4.1.x-based finless 1.7c is rock stable. I do however want to upgrade the libstagefright binary because there have apparently been fixes made by rockchip. Does anyone happen to have a newer libstagefright binary for the MK808B kicking around that they can upload for me? Thanks!

Much faster than Finless, based on 4.1.1 Android and includes the new libstagefright.so file.

Thanks everyone!! Phinc, that libstagefright patch worked wonders, thank you. I tried updating to the newer ROM, but it seems to have trouble going from Finless to that one. I think I would have to reinstall stock, then try to go to the minix port. I won't do that for now, finless works fine for me.

You can use the libstagefright I posted in my Update Pack as it's the newest one, works with Android 4.2.

If you can deal with patching a few things like the libstagefright, getting rid of the boot animation (sorry Finless, but it's an aquired taste) there is no real need to ever change roms unless something is broken on 1.7, like ethernet on boot. It's also given me the best data transfer of all roms at the cost of signal strength.
If we could get rkremote v2 on that rom I would switch in a heartbeat.Currently Using:
2 x Nvidia Shield TV | MiniMX III
Retired Devices:
MiniMX III-II | Mk808b Pro | Mk808b Plus | Raspberry Pi 1 + 2 | UBOX R89 | MK808 | MK808b | CS008 | X1 4K (rk3288_809) | CYX_809III | Ouya | CX-919 | S82 Plus | Tronstmart R68
