Firmware for RK3229 with SCI S9082C

Hi, I am looking for a firmware for box with RK3229 (or 3228A) that supports SCI S9082C Wi-Fi chip. I searched for it myself but with no luck. I tried using driver kernel module (9082xs.ko) from Amlogic box but it was for kernel 3.14 and RockChip boxes are using 3.10 kernel. If that matters this box has 1GB of RAM and 8GB ROM eMMC. Thanks in advance!

Are you sure is CPU RK 3229/3228A ?

There is reference to that wifi module in AMlogic channel S905X......

Also at XDA Forum and Rom to test

Yes, I'm sure. /proc/cpuinfo says that it's 3229 and text on SoC says that it's 3228A. Unfortunately, S905X boxes run 3.14 kernel, and RK3229 runs 3.10, so driver extracted from S905X firmware didn't work.

Thanks, but this firmware is for S905X and included driver is still for 3.14 kernel.

The original Factory Firmware must have Driver for wifi chipset S9082C in Kernel 3.10 ?????

Rockchip has ported Kernel 3.14

Of course u cant find Factory Firmware.(Nothing at C gadgets review?)

What is status of Box currently?

Bricked/soft bricked?

Maybe test LibreElec for this Box

There are Roms to test that Match CPU and DTB
You will have remote control
But no wifi

Maybe USB wifi adapter
Or just use Ethernet if available

No, it isn't in kernel, but only driver that i could find supported only 3.14.29 kernel. This driver is a kernel module, .ko file. This box runs 4.4 kernel on armbian and probably on LibreELEC. I really couln't find any firmware with support for s9082c so I headed here. My box is right now on Android 6.0 with driver for SSV6051. Everything works flawlessly except Wi-Fi. I guess I should try to build AlexELEC which probably supports s9082c.

I always thought was built in Kernel/interface with Device tree blob/loads at startup/bootload

Module loads in system when called for Wifi/turn on wifi

You may have more success with Device tree Blob in LibreElec

Either way you are up n Running/Flawless/except wifi

When you got the Box The Original Factory Firmware had been removed/replaced with other Rom/Android 6.0
