Well I decided to do some tweaks without installing TWRP... unfortunately none of the SDcard TWRP packages I have will load. S905X4 will not take 922, 912, and 905x3 TWRP packages without a proper signature. There are TV box rooter apps, but I rather have recovery method for tweaking. I am staying away from Magisk, and SU, for my own reasons, so I guess I will have to wait for a Signature based TWRP recovery for 905x4 boxes.

Basically, it involves copying the "TWRP Recovery Amlogic S9xx.img" as "recovery.img" to the root of any MicroSD card or USB Drive and then Booting up the Box while keeping the Reset Button pressed.
The method claims TWRP is NOT installed. The device Only Boots into the TWRP Recovery. To make the TWRP Recovery Permanent, simply Flash the recovery.img file using the "Flash" Option and selecting Recovery partition. -
