HK1 S905x3 Box removing top cover?

Hello can anyone advise me how to remove the top cover from my HK1 S905x3 box. I have a distracting patch of light leaking from inside the box due to a manufacturing defect. I initially elected not to ship the box back as it shipped from China and the performance hasn't been affected. I am proposing to maybe sticking some thermal tape inside the cover to plug the light leak. I've attached a couple of pictures showing the problem.

Thank you for reply the video shows that the cover removes easily. I have a full set of spudger tools that I can use.

If you are talking about the center circle (light illuminating from it) this is not a defect!! On the contrary it is a "hole" made purpously (in recent made TVboxes), probably to help temeprature dissipation.
