Amlogic S805 Rooting And custom ROM

Hello:
I've a android box which is taken from my ISP.
I've bought this box from my ISB to run their Live channels and VOD services.
Now I've shifted to another ISP.
Now this box is no longer usable because previous ISP has burned their DNS in stock ROM.
Due to which internet from another ISP is not working on it.
I tried to root it using rooting apps but due to DNS burned I'm unable to connect to internet.
Kindly help me to root it, and install custom ROM to make this box useable.

Some Specs:
Amlogic S805
2GB RAM
8GB ROM
Android 4.4.2 (Stock ROM).

I've contacted a friend in previous ISP Company.
He told me that there in a box in our office on which a ROM is installed (Pictures Attached).
He said a ex-employee has installed that ROM over it, no one knows how he did it.
This made a light of hope that installing customer ROM on that box his possible.

Furthermore I've tried USB burning tool but the box is not getting detected in it.
I've read some other threads, installed drivers and did a lot of work but nothing worked.
I also tried SD card method but in this method box was booting normally instead of flashing, even I was holding reset key....
Any help would be appreciated.
