Dears,
I have x96 Android box 2/16 first version Android 6.0. A few days ago I tried to install Armbian-ubuntu on it, It works well but later when I tried to reinstall the Android firmware it didn't work. I searched a lot and tried different version but all went in vain. It's bricked now, the lamb is always red even when I try to unbrick it nothing works.
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with with such an issue or I should simply throw the box away.
What error did you get?
You should use a stock firmware to restore the correct uboot.
Thank you for your reply.
unfortunately it's an old version of x96 and I'm not able to find the right firmware. In the attached photo I found what I think is the original firmware but I don't know how to burn it to my box.
You have an OTA firmware, which can't solve your problem, you need Amlogic USB burning tool to burn a Amlogic format img firmware, I found one Android 7.1.2 stock firmware, you can find it here: https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...firmware-7-1-2
