hi all.......I have a very big prolem with my mx box running android 4.2.1. Its restarting all the time and the internal storage is 0.00B. I tried everything and nothing helping to fix it. I tried to upgrade etc but still cannot upgrade or anything. Its such an old firmware with board g0ref and kernel 3.0.50 the build number is JOP40D.20130403e. I hope really that anybody can help me

Yes.. seen it a few times

    Options:
    1) ./settings/app/xbmc ( choose emty cache)
2)./settings/storage/cache (pop-up -emty cache.. not all roms have this option)
    3) ./settings/storage (dismount nand-sd then remount
    4) boot in recovery.. using reset button ... choose emty cache
    5) backup stuff.. place a sd-card in device.. settings/storage.. format sdcard
(in most android devices there is a bug.. format sdcard - formats the 'nand-sd' )
    6) factory reset device

In most cases..option 1 or 2 will work

Thank you for your help. The xbmc is not installed on the device. I will try your steps, but why should I use the sd-card? should it bee empty? or do I have to install formware on it before booting in recovery?

Thanks in advance... I am very confused

Thanks for your tips, but when I boot in recovery mode then I am not getting the ´´empty cache´´.
just apply update from EXT etc. What should I store on the sd card? or It have to bee empty?

        thanks for your help....
