Ethernet stops working on TV Box

Hello, I have this IPTV android tv box that I use to watch IPTV from my provider.
but I am having issues with the ethernet.

the internet just seems to stop working on it randomly while watching tv. the only two ways to fix it, is to reboot the box OR go into android settings/ethernet/turn off and then turn ethernet back on.
then after a few seconds the internet is working again.

I have asked my IPTV provider to fix this, but they are very slow.
is there any fix anyone can think of that I can do on the box? maybe something simple like editing the build.prop?

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
PS. I dont know the model of the tv box, but I know for sure it has root.

I would first try to rule-out ''router' issues or 'overheating' issues..

Try something like..
Placing a fan on-top of the iptv box and router
Check-out router settings.. perhaps Logs.. shows network problems or reboots
See.. if you router has a 'iptv' mode enabled (some router have this option )
Try using 'static ip'
See.. if there is a firmware update for your router or iptv-box
