Well, you can try but... 1º make sure you know the reset pins on that box.

Could be that reset Button either does not work with that build (in past I recognized with other socs like S905x2)

or simpLy reset missing or broken

Then try Maskmode by shortening pins

P.s.: that is why I havent tried this fw so far!

if the box is not detected at all when connected, then try to make the cable as short as possible, you can also additionally connect the power supply after connecting the USB

Hi, I think that the reset "Button" is in the AV port not SPDIF!

Same thing, but I guess my model's case just labelled the port as "SPDIF".

I'm certain I'm pressing the reset button, there's also no other port on my Tanix anyway (just usb, LAN port, etc).

I have spent two days trying to install this ROM, I'm not sure if anyone here can help.

I have tried using the Amlogic USB burn tool (versions 3.2.8, 3.2.0, and 3.1.8) and I am unable to get the box to interface with the burn tool:

- I tried holding the reset button (in spdif port), then inserting the usb in the blue usb port (closest to tf card reader), no success

- I tried holding the reset button (in spdif port), then inserting the usb in the black usb port (closest to power port, I suspect this is the otg port), no success

- I tried doing the above again, but this time connecting the power cord to it and then inserting the usb, no success

- I tried doing the above in a different usb port on my laptop (running windows 11 and a separate one running windows 10), no success

- I tried the Amlogic SD card burn tool and then inserting the sd card into the box, then powering it on, no success

I'm close to giving up, but I thought I'd ask if anyone here can share how they were able to install this rom. I have the 4GB RAM, 64 GB emmc version.

Yea weired Thing. Read there is New drivers for the x4 so I will try AML burning 3 later on

If Transpeed is like Hk1x4 n Vontar the OTG Port is on the corner of China Box on 45 degrees angle.

Issues with usb cable not inserted deep enough
Some had to trim/remove plastic so can insert deeper to make contact.

USB 3.18 or 3.20 is used/works on my HK1 X4

Stock seems pretty responsive! Dont know how to flash superceleron img though...weired al that comes up is Hisuite which is Huawei

Ho, and the s905x4 needs usb burning tool v3.xx, the v2.xx versions do not work.
Also they sometimes are a bitch to show in the tool, and you might need to try different usb ports of your PC.
