If you feel "brave" try the ATV firmware I gave you. Most probably it will be OK. There is of course a chance that your wifi or some other component will not function. Of course there is always the possibility of getting a "brick", but as we know you can always revive the TVbox by shorting 2 pins. We know the 2 pins for the H96 max X3 (round TVbox) with Blue Board, but is seems to be different than yours. I think you are experienced in this and I may help you also (in case you get a brick). Anyway it is up to you.

Yes, but this was back to November 2020, when there were no better options/custom firmwares. At that time it was the best custom AOSP rom for this "family" of TVboxes.

The Vendor said its 100Mbit, but...

On the chip it says:

which should be a Gigabit chip ??

When I make a Internet Speedtest I get more than 100Mbit upload speed.

I am still not sure which custom ROM I would have to install.
My TV Box has AUDIO issues. When I play a movie, it crackles (HDMI) like the sync between Audio and Video is not working correctly. It does this in any APP that plays video (Youtube, Kodi, IPTV etc.)

No one can tell you which File/Custom Rom to Flash

That decision Rests on Your (KennyHack) shoulders.

There are 20 plus Files that can be tested on Your China Box
With varying results of Sucess
Also different OPerating Systems
Armbian
CoreElec
Are 2 examples
Also Probably a SlimBox Version that may Work

Look for Files/Roms that have the Same Hardware as yours
Ethernet RTL 8211f
Wifi 5230

What you have described above RE: Audio issues
Souns like Hardware issue not
Software/Firmware

Maybe try a new HDMI cable
Test Box on Different Display/TV Monitor
Try the AV Output on Box
See if Same results AS HDMI

Could be software issue. I experienced stutter BT audio on my x96 air when using SLIMBOX . Therefore I use the stock which is really good too and does not have these bluetooth audio issues
