In the next few days I will receive this box from my ISP technician. I don't know what the OEM for this box is, maybe someone can identify it from the pictures.
All I know is that it has a S905X2-B processor, and very poor firmware. It even has only 2 channel audio and poor picture quality. It runs Android 10, has Widevine L1 and is Netflix certified.
I don't mind losing those certifications with a custom rom
The technician asked if I can install a custom firmware on it, and although I have flashed firmwares on plenty of boxes, it has been a few years, and they were all rooted.
This box will obviously not have root and a locked bootloader, so is it possible to flash such a box using Amlogic burning tool?
Any help will be appreciated.
