Anyone got Tronsmart TSM-01 working with QX1?

When I plug the Tronsmart TSM-01 air mouse to my Mac, it works well but not so well with the Imito QX1. The only real thing that is affected is the range. It goes from 4-5 meters with the Mac to about 0.4-0.5 meters with the Imito QX1!

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Try changing the wifi channel on your router. Also try plugging in a powered USB hub and pluggin the dongle into that. Let me know if you have any luck,

That second suggestion makes a lot of sense to me, why did I not think of that!!? I actually persuaded a friend to purchase the unit so will have to wait until next time I see them, hopefully this weekend.

PS. Would updating to FinlessROM 1.5 or leolasROM 1.5 have any effect above what is provided with stock?

Edit: P.S.S Also, would it make more sense for me to buy a remote which supports bluetooth instead? Do they exist?

Bluetoth input devices are not working good in QX1 for now.
About ther rom the best is try both and see what fits better your use For me both of them improves a lot the stock rom. But it is only my opinion.

Thanks leolas, I actually have the finlessROM 1.5 installed (last Sunday when your link was down) but after a bit of a play I will try yours too. What would you say is the biggest difference between Finless vs Leolas 1.5 ROMS?

Biggest is wifi on reboot workaround, it makes me crazy for a long time, so when I found it, it makes me happy . In my roms I installed cwm recovery by default too, and future updates will use cwm to be installed, for me is easy and less risky to use cwm without pc and maintain without touch bootloader, it has some inconveniences too, we can not resize partitions size.

Finless rom 1.5 is great too, he is the master, and his roms have great performance and stability ; in next days I will sent Bob a port of his 1.6 rom (testing what 1.6 is the best to port to our sticks) to QX1 so he can evaluate it and if he wants to release it, he will do it.
