Stop Android TV from "Checking USB drive... reviewing current content"?

Hi I have beelink gs-king x with two 14tb inside, every startup it takes an hour for android to scan these with that mssg and you can't do nothing while is doing that.

It makes me not want to turn it off but energy cost means I have to. Is there a way to disable it?

Hmm..

Without root:
Create a file named
.nomedia
On your hdd's

If you have root..then there are many apps..that can freeze mediascan

Thank you the .nomedia file worked, although it still scans it only takes couple of minutes, thanks .
