Shutting off the Tronsmart CX-919... how?

I have not seen anywhere how to shut this thing physically off. Is there a power button or do you just have to unplug it everytime?

Isn't there a shutdown icon in the bottom row of icons in the rom you are using? From the stock rom has a shutdown app, allowing for a soft shut down. I'm using the finless 1.6b, which definitely does.

You can shut it down using this app, but unfortunately you will need to unplug the power lead and re-plug it to restart it, or possibly power it from the TV if it has USB. In the latter instance it will be restarted when you turn the TV back on.

So unless your TV has powered USB ports... You have to shut it down through the OS, and the physically unplug it from the AC outlet to completely power it off. No matter what ROM you are using?

Then to turn it back on... Just plug it back into the AC outlet and it should boot up? Sound about right?

Hi I bought the CX-919 three days ago. Now, it was not good. remind CX-918 will not start, the TV screen moves android icon it will not go away. How can I solve this problem, pless

The shutdown app does a power off. You only need to unplug and replug to power on again

Curious. What happens if you just unplug from power without using the shutdown app? Does it corrupt the OS?

Depends what activity is occurring when the power is cut, maybe corrupted but probably nothing would happen.
