    Pipo M6 Pro RileyROM 1.3

Make sure you are using the USB cable that came with the tablet. Try a different port.

If the flash tool and RK batch tool are seeing your tablet, you have the drivers installed correctly.

LMAO .. well now it's just a black screen (tablet) and it won't turn on, nothing.. *scratches head* I love a good mystery.. haha

I did a reset using a pushpin.. it's booting, but not into the mode I need it in. I have a bazillion USB cords, so I'm not sure which is which, but I figure if it can see it, the USB cord must be working, yes?

Flash mode or loader mode IS a black screen. If the banner at the bottom says you are in loader mode you are ready to erase IDB and then flash.

Find a paper clip and press the reset hole. That will turn off your tablet so you can start over.

I need to sign off for the night.

            Good luck!!!

Well, if I still cannot get it to work, I will scratch it until tomorrow when more peeps are online so I can ask a bazillion questions.. sorry for being such a noob..

Okay, I'm crying "uncle" for tonight. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, once I hit the "switch" I think it's actually shutting off my tablet because there is ZERO backlight on the screen. Then the flash tool can't see my tablet at all. Going to stop for the night and try again tomorrow when there are folks around who can maybe help out.

I know it is of little comfort but i am having the same issues as you. I have already flashed once but now i hit the problems you are having, perhaps you have explained it better than me as i had little help resolving this problem. Lets see i we can beat it together...I look forward to suggestions on what to do

                  HELP please...

                  SOLVED
                  Hello,
                  after flashing Kernel "kernel_cpu1608h_gpu600h_ddr720_low_voltages (+25mV).img"
My tab seems to be dead. The screen stays black, the only thing that happens by pushing the power button is two click sound. Between the klicks is one second. The device isn't detected anymore by the "finles rom flash tool", so I can't return to the previous Kernel (kernel_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720, this one works for me).

SOLVED the Problem by pushing Power+Vol++ESC

Except I haven't done ANYTHING yet.. except tether the tablet to my laptop, and then pressed the SWITCH using RKBatchTool.exe from within alternate_reboot_to_flash_tool folder.. that's it.. I haven't done a single thing to this silly tablet! That's why I don't get why it's doing what it's doing when I try to boot it into the loading mode... it doesn't make any sense to me.. sheesh.. lol

As far as I know the tablet is not recognized well under windows8.1. I think that this is the problem. Instead Windows 8 is working well.

Do you have an old pc laying around that has XP? It might make a good flashing only rig.

I'll see if my daughter will let me use her lappy.

Okay, so my daughter has Win8Pro. I just did the "switch" using her lappy. The EXACT same thing happened. It shuts down my tablet, and the flash tool can no longer see the tablet. *sigh* ... I'm stumped

UPDATE: I finally got it to reboot into loading AND get the flash tool to still see the tablet. Now when I use "Erase NAND (IDB) I get a fail. Ideas, please?

This is the error. I disconnected / reconnected USB cord. Same error. I changed out USB cord for different one. Same error. I moved USB cord on laptop to different port. Same error.
