Leotec Show 2 432 (S905W2) firmware

I volunteered to configure this strange S905W2 TV Box for a friend. Is this a clone of any known TV Box?

RAM: 4 GB

Internal storage: 32 GB

WiFi and bluetooth chipset: AW3155-50R

VFD: FD6551

Ref: LETVBOX19

The original firmware sucked so much that the keyboard didn't even allow me to insert the WiFi password. There was also no root.


So I installed the slimBOXtv firmware for the Vontar X2 (also S905W2 SoC), but as expected the WiFi and the VDF don't work.


The problem is that after flashing the firmware for the Vontar X2, the USB Burning Tool doesn't recognize the box anymore so I am unable to try other firmwares. I'm stuck with the slimBOXtv firmware.

If I get the stock firmware maybe I can flash the u-boot.bin with the Amlogic BootcardMaker and be able to use the USB Burning Tool again.


If you know where can I download the stock firmware please tell me. Thanks.

Has happened to me many times with slimboxtv

Try this method

Install terminal emulator app in slimboxtv

Apply command reboot update


##Then quickly plug in USB male to make

## You must have USB Tool running with image loaded
And have hit the start button

Thanks for the tip, that was the first thing I tried, but the box is still undetected by USB Burning Tool.

The best I could do was installing the CoreELEC-NE, but I would prefer to have Android TV.

I tried, but didn't know which pins to short.

Edit:

Customer service was great and sent me the original firmware.


With it I was able to use Amlogic BootcardMaker and the USB Burning Tool was able to detect the box after the "reboot update" command in the terminal.
