GTR7 and GTR7 Pro are respectively equipped with AMD Ryzen™ 7 7840HS and AMD Ryzen™ 9 7940HS Processor. They both adopt TSMC's 4nm process technology and feature 8 cores and 16 threads.

Ryzen 7 7840HS has a base frequency of 3.8 GHz, and a max turbo frequency of 5.1GHz. Ryzen 9 7940HS has a base frequency of 4.0 GHz, and a max turbo frequency of 5.2GHz.

In the Geekbench benchmark test, Ryzen 7 7940HS outperforms the previous generation Ryzen 9 6900HX by 29% .

But fear not, both versions of the mini computer measure only 6.6″ x 4.7′ x 1.9″, pack an 8-core, 16-thread chip with Radeon 780M integrated graphics, and support up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory and up to 8TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage. Plus, they can support up to four displays!

Beelink is also offering an optional feature that allows the processors to consume up to 65 watts of power during demanding applications with the active cooling system, but it needs to be enabled in the BIOS. Out of the box, the chips use up to 54 watts. And don't forget, the integrated graphics rival entry-level discrete GPUs, so the GTR 7 could be a real beaut option if you're keen on a compact, affordable PC for light gaming.

But wait, there's more! The Ryzen 9 7940HS chip is slightly faster than the Ryzen 7 7840HS, but Beelink is asking for an extra $400 for the most potent chip. Who knows if it's due to real-world performance benefits or just Aussie "taxation" tactics. But don't forget, the high pricing is for barebones configurations only, so you'll need to provide your own memory, storage, and operating system. Don't worry, though - Beelink might offer pre-configured models in the future.
