Mecool M8S Pro L (LB) needs to go back to stock settings

I recently installed Armbian Linux on my Mecool M8S Pro L Android TV box, and in the process I changed the stock recovery image to TWRP. I was successful in using Arbian Linux on my Mecool M8S Pro L Android TV box, but it's too slow to use as a day to day Linux box. So now I have decided to install Batocera or EmuElec (whatever works best) on my Mecool M8S Pro L Android TV box now. I have discovered that I cannot connect my Mecool M8S Pro L Android TV box to my computer using TWRP with the USB Burning Tool application. I have to have the stock rocovery image installed for the USB Burning Tool to recognize my Mecool M8S Pro L Android TV box. Is this correct, or can I use TWRP with the USB Burning Tool? Am I doing something wrong? If I need to reload the stock recovery image, how do I replace TWRP with the stock recovery image? Please help.
