Need help install drivers on Win 7 64bit

My old computer is dead and i am trying to install the drivers on my new computer but it is impossible.
It is Win 7 64bit and it has only USB 3.0 ports.

With win 7 and usb 2.0 it was no problem at all to get it working. But now i can not get it to work.

Can someone help me.

It should work. Can you check your bios settings? Some bioses have a setting where the usb 3.0 will work only in usb 3.0 mode or usb 3.0/2.0/1.1 mode. I have seen those settings. It all depends on the motherboard. Can't hurt to check it. Otherwise I am lost. USB 3 is downward compatible with USB 2.0.

i had same type of problem

I had same type of problem on 64 bit win 7....
plung in usb device and wait for windows to do its stuff, then goto control panel, device manager, look under universal serial bus controllers, there should be one listed with ! mark in yellow, saying its missing a driver. click it, goto update driver, and manually point it the folder for the usb driver of device. Should see it, install it and then reboot and you should be good to go....
this was my problem on a 64bit win7 box, might help you, might not!
