got my new minix neo X5 need some help

i just got my new neo X5 'and i have a few questions:

1.what ROM is recomended to flash on the X5?
2. I noticed that i dont get a 1080P picture how can i fix it?
3.what version of XBMC is recommended?and how can i get it to work with the SPDIF audio output?
4.הI noticed that the optical cable connection to X5 bit weak .. This is a known issue (or that I have a problem connector of X5?)

i just put the 4.2.2 on the minix x5 and froto 12.3 for the xbmc.....

Its a personal choice, i use kastyrom as it allowed root and gave me access to fix items Minix refused to address in last ROM for mini and x5.
Lots o chose from so read up on each pros and cons in each.
