Transpeed x4 4/128GB unit

Dear folks received device which is pretty responsive.

superceleron 's img for the x4 shall be functional s well

Since I could not find flash img

I stay with the shipped Firmware as this is - as stated - responsive.


Anyone knows how to dump fw from device?

Attention: wifi real weak ! Kept buffering Olympia streams. When connected through ethernet no buffering!

4 x K4B4G0446Q-HYK0 (1GB each) (Samsung DDR 3) DDR3 DRAM, 1GX4, CMOS, PBGA78 status discontinued so pretty old ... > 10 years

BT / wifi: HK5235F / RTL8211F

LAN: TFS5009 (unknown speed could not find any information)

ROM: ToshibaTHGBMFTOC8LBAIG true 128GB but discontinued as well !!

I see that Slimbox has nicely posted a link to official firmware on Yandex. Here is a link to official Transpeed x4 1000m firmware. It's not as new (June of '23)but should work.

Yesterday I renoved heat sink which was (I guess) glued on the chip. 1st I used wire to cut then a large Tool to move heatsink to left and right.. After I put MX5 cooling paste on it! I dont know if its worth since possibility for damage is huge!!!!! Box didnt Start 5 Times after that and even froze 2 times but since then started any time....Real weired so I could have damaged it or not .. who knows
