Need help unbricking box - Bqeel M9C Max

    Hello guys,

I will try to make it short and understandable.

In the past i bought a android tv box to my parents. This box to be accurate => https://www.amazon.es/Bqeel-M9C-Max-...ct_top?ie=UTF8

I opened it and on the motherboard it's written Tx3 pro 2+16G S9082C

Last week i wanted to reset it for another person as my parents didn't use it since a long time.
I tried factory reset from the interface menu. But it was unplugged before the process was finished..

Following this i looked for informations as when i tried to boot it was stuck on the boot logo. Problem is i tried the wrong firmware and after that box wasn't even switching from red light to blue light as it used to do. Overall i have been using Amlogic USB Burning tool, button reset hold, ticked and unticked options and also tried to short pins and tried to boot on SD card too with image on it.

Now i am still stuck to this point after trying different images but i can't seem to find the right one to complete the process on UBT. Been trying also to short the pins and could get to the point when i get blue light again but nothing happens. When i can get to this state (windows acknowledge an unrecognized USB device).

I encountered different errors during my tries:

    [0x10105002]Romcode/Initialize DDR/Read initialize status/USB Control setup error

    Mostly this one:
    [0x32030201]uboot/get result/diskinitial error

    [0x10302001]romcode/switch status/check connect/enum device error

If someone who met the same issues can help finding the right firmware and unbrick it would be great.

    Thanks for your help

      Thank you for your reply.
I will check if something can help in this topic.

Edit: Didn't help, there is no link to functional firmware for this kind of box.

probably came with Android 6 ?

Maybe see if you can boot CoreELEC/LibreElec for S905 X
        From SD card

            Just follow wiki guide
            Fairly simple
Burn image to micro sd card

Rename device tree blob to dtb.img

            Please follow wiki guide

              Hello,
I followed the wiki guide as suggested.

I downloadedThen i didn't know which image and in my researches i found this one:

              Corresponding to this one :
              LibreELEC 12.0
              • Kodi 21.0
              • Linux Kernel 6.6.x
              • Support for GXBB (S905), GXL (S905X/D), and GXM (S912) devices
              • Alpha support for G12A (S905X2/D2/Y2), G12B (S922X/A311D) and SM1 (S905X3/D3) devices
              Android Boxes (SD Card Boot)

              Generic Box Image LibreELEC-AMLGX.aarch64-12.0.0-box.img.gz

Then i burned it on sd card and here is the question:

Once burnt there is an "amlogic" folder at the root of the sd card which contains many dtb files. Few of them marked as "gxl" may work apparently. But not sure what you mean by rename "device tree blob dtb.img".

Does this mean i have to pick one that seem best suited and rename it dtb.img instead of "filename.dtb" ?

I found one that seem to be dedicated to my box:
              https://coreelec.org/legacy/dtb/ (M9C max bqeel)
Device trees for amlogic S905 devices. Contribute to popsa851/s905-trees development by creating an account on GitHub.

              Could this help ?

Should i put it on the root of the sd card as i have seen somewhere on the forum ?

Also what do you suggest knowing that if i put powersupply the red light stay lit ? i'm stuck with this too..

              Thank you for the support
