H.264 / Slingplayer on x7

Hello world,

Having serious buffer or lag issues with slingplayer on the x7. Seems to happen most when the stream hits 2096kbps.
I tried a few things

Installed tons of kernels
Downloaded older versions of sling tablet
Downloaded xmbc, raised buffer levels
Tried the smartphone version
Tried WiFi, or Ethernet cable
Changed video output to 24fps, 30 fps, 60
Tried 720, 1080 with all fps options


The other end is slingbox 350...which I understand plays
H.264. I read the x7 has issues with . 264 encoding.

My wife wants to throw the box off the roof.
