    X7 as gaming console

    Hi,

I looking to extend the gaming support of my X7.
    I am considering two options:
    1. Ouya controller (http://www.game.co.uk/en/ouya-controller-215312)
    2. Moga Pro (http://www.game.co.uk/en/moga-pro-co...oid-2-3-222939)
Both of them are support more games than I can play with the PS3 controller.
I wonder if anyone have experience using them. Will they work with the X7?

Is there any other option I missed?

i use a red samurai bluetooth for ps1 emulators and homemade arcade controls for everything else, but i built mine into a arcade cabinet, it seems there are still some things I can't get to work sometimes.

I would suggest you try this game controller, it is special design for the android tv box:

and we have already tested on MINIX NEO X7, working like charm.

check on our youtube, we already put a video for this model, and neo x7.

I do have a ps3 controller for the X7 which is perfect for the psx emu, but I would like to play more android games.

I already ordered one. It is with the customs at the moment, so it might take a while before I can test it, but I wonder if I can play the MOGA Enhanced games with it? (http://www.mogaanywhere.com/games/)

If a game is "Moga Enhanced", It means that the developer took the time to make his/her game recognize each one of the buttons in the Moga when a Moga is connnected to the device via the Moga pivot app. That being said, a game that is "Moga Enhanced" might support generic bluetooth gamepads as well, as other games may not. Just btw I love my moga, is not only that I've never had the "issue" of having to remap some buttons with the Moga, but also I love how ergonomic it is and the great desing as well as the easy to set up steps and the fact that it can also work with any other game even if it's not "Moga Enhanced" by using the Moga universal driver (free third-party app).

I thought the same. I was just curious if it will wot with x7. There were lot of changes in the Bluetooth stack in 4.2 (e.g. wiimote not working anymore) and I was not able to found this information anywhere.

I have the Moga pro, just like the box says; "Android 2.3+" (any android 2.3+ with bluetooth, incluiding the x7). The changes in 4.2 have only affected the wimote being connected (as far as I know; I've not seen any problem with any other controller on 4.2)
