    pipo s1 toast?

had problems after using the pipo connected to the tv for the last 2 weeks.i was on xbmc watching uk tv in cyprus.started getting video freeze whilst audio continued normally.tried watching videos with mx player and the fault occurred after 10 min. tried with other players and clips with same result.i decided to reflash the rom but couldn't find an english version, then tried to download neomode,s rom, only to find the link dead.finally downloaded Riley's rom.this seemed to flash ok. the tablet went through the boot sequence ok and finished with the lock screen.however after severel seconds a message appeared quote"Unfortunately,ShelvesGridWidget has stopped".so gentlemen does this mean it's now toast or does anyone know different.

Unfortunately, I don't have an S1 to test on when I do the ROM's. I try to stick with the same known working process I've developed for ROM's I've done with Pipo tablets that I know work and are safe...when doing a ROM "in the dark", so to speak. I left that widget in the system, but I guess I shouldn't have.

That widget error you get is not a deal breaker for the system...it's just telling you that a dependency is missing (something else I removed during the debloat) that it needs to run...and it force closes.

If you tablet is working, otherwise...just use a root explorer app (with root permissions) and go into system/app and remove this widget, and this nagging error message will go away.

Are you sure you don't have an S1S tablet or an S1 Pro? It really sounds to me that you've flashed the wrong ROM. There are 3 versions of the S1...and this may be your problem (I know...Pipo's naming scheme is very confusing).

This is my plain S1 ROM:

            Try flashing the stock firmware:

See if you get it to boot.

We can try some modifications to my ROM if there is a booting problem.
