    T428 + G910 Wireless BT Gamepad - Official Finless Rom 1.5a

First post and first time user of both Android + MiniPC's so forgive me if I ask something stupid here...I Just ordered the Tronsmart T428 along with a wireless keyboard/remote control and the G910 gamepad... Once I got it I downloaded and installed the "official 1.5a finless rom without any issues"... Does anyone have experience with the "gamecenter version 905" that geekbuying recommends for their G910 gamepad? I've tried their steps, even installed the extra "gamepad_key_1.12". Here's my issue... when I open gamecenter and set the inputs the way they instruct you to on their youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sK-M44E9y4) I put the G910 paring mode by pressing the Y + Home button like they suggest... I try to add to gamecenter, it sees it, says it's connected then takes me to a black screen that says it's connected and I can start my game... however, my G910 is still acting like it's in paring mode with the first three led's rapidly flashing... also, the gamecenter says it's using "controller 0"... I've tried this several times... am I running into an issue running the 1.5a? would downgrading to Android 4.1.1 make this work better? suggestions anyone? Thanks in advance.

Here is a new game center:

download it, and install, click " MY JOYSTICK" AND it will allow you to install a new controller connect app. try with the new app.

the led flash means you haven't made the G910 and your tv stick connected correctly.

        Geekbuying,

Thanks so much for your quick response. I have downloaded the .apk file from the link you provided and will get it installed on my T428 tonight. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Also, I sent the same request to the geekbuying support staff and they weren’t quite sure what the issue was but they provide me a link to: http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php.../#.UoHfo2eBkpM

This looks to be a firmware for the actual G910 controller… should I load that as well? I’m planning on first simply trying the updated gamecenter you suggested. If that still didn’t work then I was going to load the new firmware to the G910 and try again… I’m a little concerned however, several comments on that page say they get stuck loading firmware at .1 or 1%... do the files really need to be located on the desktop for this to work properly or are they skipping some step? Thanks for all your help.

            Geekbuying,
Thanks so much for all your help. I ran the new version of gamecenter and added the “My Joystick” as you suggested. Its work now as long as I play games offered via that gamecenter.
Do you recommend upgrading the firmware on the G910? Any advantages to that?
If I try to play other games (Minecraft PE / Bloons TD Defense) ect the controller seems to not really work. I think this is a misunderstanding on my part however… I’ve never used a Bluetooth controller or anything like that…was hoping that by adding a controller to the T428 via Bluetooth would simply “mimic” natural use…
For example, I was thinking that once the controller is associated I should be able to go to the home screen and and use the joystick to move the mouse, click on apps to open ect… but that doesn’t seem to be its intended use…
Basically what I was looking for was a way to use the T428 as a way to play games just like I had a tablet PC only on a big screen TV. J
All that said, I’m still extremely happy with the T428
Thanks again for all your help.
