    pipo s3 screen

    Hi,

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem.

Bought my daughter an S3 as was so impressed with the S1, but build quality nowhere near as good.

Touchscreen has stopped responding to touch on S3 tablet still works fine with mouse over USB, not worth returning to China due to shipping costs, any ideas of a self fix ?

One thing you might try is flashing the original firmware again to see if it resets the drivers.

You get best results with the oldest stock firmware you can find.

No luck have tried original firmware and the most recent Rileyrom, I did read somewhere that pipo had some issues with motherboards that caused touchscreens to stop working and this could be fixed with a little soldering ? anyone heard of this ?

If that didn't work, then you for sure have a hardware issue.

Time to either send it back to China, or perform surgery. I really can't help much with that...I haven't had much luck with hardware matters.
