MK802 IV not showing when trying to flash

I tried this and i can not get it to show up. It shows in my menu at the top pf parallels as vender 2207 composite USB.
But it doesnt show up in any of the programs to flash it.
Now i had a mk908 i did and it showed up first time no issues. So not sure why this is one is not. Im using a high quality micro usb cable not a cheap one
ive tried with power connected and without as well

the most simple way I've found to flash my device is to not have it plugged into anything ..... plug in USB into your device the hold down reset button ... after while still holding reset button plug the USB cord into your PC\MAC ... with this method it takes about 3 seconds and works every time for me .. you should here a bong sound if successful .. if you hear the sound but still cant connect I'd check out your drivers out

i found the issue. It was not saving when i would clikc on connect usb to computer and then turn off the unit. So after hours of frustration i turned it back on played with it discovered it was not clicked even though i had clicked it and it worked.

BUt if i have issues again i will keep your steps so i can do them. I have a mac so i use paralells to connect or vmware fusion since i have not found a flashing program for mac.
