21:9 monitor and android

I have been offered a nice looking ips monitor..
But..Its resolution is '2560x1080'

But I don't seem to own a 'android' device that incl that resolution..
So, my questions..
Will the screen look 'warped' or will I get allot of black borders?

Does anyone have a 21:9 monitor.. and how does it work in combination with android sticks\tvboxes\xbmc\mx-player ?

I appreciate the input\advice

Some monitors allow "scaling" different than the native resolution. It may not look pretty as they are doubling pixels, etc. So you can deal with the borders or set the scaling and try it.

I decided.. not to buy it.. (after finless reply and checking-out some youtube vids)
