HDMI output from the M6Pro

I'm curious to know if the HDMI output of an M6Pro with a 4:3 screen results in a squashed/warped image on a TV running at 16:9? Or do we have the option of boxing the output? Or if I would be better served by using another tablet such as an M9Pro for output?

It automatically recognizes the ratio and everything is working fine.
