It works perfectly if you have driver.
Actualy among all USB LAN adapters, driver for AX88179 chipset is the best. Most of others have some kind of problem when compiled for ARM, this one works perfectly.

Considering I still have stock 4.1.1 that came with the device, do I have the driver ?

Or I must root and flash something...?

Will it work on mk808b ?

      Thanks alot !!!

I guess only manufacturer of device can answer that question, unless you have a card and try it out.
Card like this cost <$4 so easiest way it to just try.

How can I get this ax88179 gigabit adapter to work? (I have MK802iiis, which seems to be identical to Ug802!?)

Anybody got a module I could load? Currently running Finless 2.0

Or any guides on how to compile ax88179 Linux driver for mk802iiis? I'm completely new to Linux, so it will be kinda hard for me I guess, but I'm willing to try since I can't find any compiled module for this driver =(

          Any help highly appreciated!
