CWM for MK802IIIS (RKM model)

Got a new MK802IIIS (RKM Model). See previous thread and screenshot below.



I would like to install CWM on it, however from what I have read CWM seems to be model and ROM specific - am I right in this regard? I have read leolas's thread....

...but am unsure as to what version because my device is running 4.2.2. Can someone help? Maybe I am over thinking this - do I use:

• Rikomagic MK802IIIS (BT)

or do I have to build my own?

Trst it, it must work, but to install it in 4.2.2 roms you can't rename it to update.zip and copy to sdcard, look at my rk3188 cwm thread with 2 ways to instsll it

Thanks for your reply.
I downloaded CWM zip file from my previous link and I installed it using ROM Flash Tool by Finless - that part worked fine. However, when I boot into recovery I get a listed of errors like so:

CWM-based Recovery modified by androtab.info v6.0.3.1
E: Can't find misc
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
E: Can't find misc
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't find misc

Any thoughts? Thanks

What Rom is you using? Please post a link and I will extract your stock misc and lets see if it helps. About cache errors try in mount and format/ format cache

The rom I am using is the stock rom (4.2.2). See this thread where I backed up the system images.
