MK802IIIS BT v6 / S8B / MK808B AP6210 MAKE FINLESS 2.1 AND SNAKES ROM WORK! (BT & WIFI)

Hello all.

I've spent many days trying to install CFW on my v6 MK802IIIS.

Finally i've made it!

It is very simple really.

I've extracted the kernels from the 1030 and 1107 (720 and 1080) and i've used them instead of the kernels on the custom firmwares...

I now have BT and WIFI in Finless 2.1 (true 1080p)...

I've tried it also on snakebytes with the 720 kernel and it is working fine...

Load ROM_Flash_Tool_137 and in the kernel field press browse then select 1080 or 720 kernel...

PS: If someone can help me because i cannot access google play store with any firmware (but i can on every other device i have) it will be greatly appreciated...

You can try the Helper App out, but you need to have the device rooted. There is information on how to enable it via build.properties. Hope this helps you - http://www.howtogeek.com/138500/

Rikomagic USA IIIs Dual Core

FYI, I tried these kernels on snakekiller's 4.2.2 roms and they still do not enable WiFi on the Rikomagic USA IIIS. FWIW, I thought that you need to have the system.img to go along with the kernel.img, but i'm not a developer so I cannot say for sure.

I've tried on snakekiller's after i've updated with the attachment snekekiller put in his thread http://sdrv.ms/17ZXJwi using recovery and then i've flashed the kernel.

Also on Finless i've updated first with cwm_21.zip (it is somewhere on the forum) which is an 720p finless for ap6210 chipset and then i've flashed the 1080p kernel.

Sorry i wasn't more specific... Anyway unfortunately 1080p is very laggy on videos because it is the stock rikomagic and because i dont want to settle with 720p kernel i've unplugged my stick until a custom 1080p kernel comes...

My success with Finless MK808B 2.1 + AP6210 kernel.img

I was able to extract the kernel.img file from the Rikomagic USA IIIS (RK3066 + AP6210) ROM dual_core_netflix.img. I used the RK3XXX Firmware tools from this thread - http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ll=1#post95533

I then copied the kernel.img to the Finless ROM directory where I extracted Finless MK808B 2.1 and then pointed the correct path to the kernel.img file and flashed it. Wifi and BT are now working!

I will try this kernel too...

But from my experience rikomagic's kernels are slow and buggy...

Unless someone tweak it 1080p video is a dream...

I miss my old 802III with finless 1.7 2dark4u 1080 kernel...

Stuck in recovery and wont flash rom...

So i followed the suggestions on the forum, i flashed TWRP recovery and it went OK, i did wipe and reboot again into recovery to flash the rom, but it wont install, it starts to flash the rom and just freezes in TWRP. Now i have a big problem because the box wont reboot into the O.S. it only reboots into TWRP recovery, i cannot flash anything because it keeps freezing when i try to flash the rom so did i just kill my BOX ??? Anyone can help me ?
