    M9 Pro Add HDMI Resolution Settings?

    Hey!

    Just wondering is there would be any way to add extra resolution settings to the Pipo M9 Pro HDMI output resolution menu. I want to use a mini projector but it will only accept VGA resolutions, 1024x768 etc.
    Would adding extra options be at all possible?

      I think Freaktab member DNKN has the kernel sources for either this tablet or the M9 Max...I can't remember. Perhaps he can explore that for you. It would involving tweaking the kernel quite a bit.

          M9 Pro Add HDMI Resolution Settings?

          The source DNKN has published to GitHub is generic rk3188 tablet source. You can use it to compile any kernel but the build/test process is intense and requires you to have a tablet of the exact make/model you want to build for.

          DNKN has built a kernel that works 95% on a M9 max, I'm just starting with a M8HD. It takes a lot of time and hundreds of kernel builds to make any progress and is really a full time job for a week! So far I've only just got the thing to boot with a working screen!
