RKAndroidTool vs RKBatchTool

    RKAndroidTool vs RKBatchTool

    I'm posting this as I would like to learn, and also because my Rikomagic USA Dual Core (RK3188) device seems to not want to flash using RKAndroidTool, although it does erase the flash.

    I know that with RKAndroidTool, you have flexibilty to use customized individual files and developers use this tool. The RKBatchTool seems fool proof and simple, for non-developers and end users.

    Is it possible to create a single flash file that can be used with RKBatchTool from all the files that are specified when using RKAndroidTool?

    Yes it's possible, though to be honest I think the reliability of both tools is down to the the quality of the cables, drivers and USB ports, not the flash tool. My first and only brick that needed screwdrivers was using BKBatchTool.

    Once you have flashed a ROM with either tool you pretty much have it sorted.

      well.. google it.. on the first search result are tools.. that might be handy

      ps.. Dualcore rk3188 ? never seen that.. before
