Nitpicking minor stuff

A few things I've noticed but haven't bothered looking for solutions till now, thought maybe others have run into it and perhaps addressed already.

i'm on finless 1.7 rom (same issues on 1.6)

soft key bar -
any way to autohide this after timeout? i miss it when it's gone but hate it when it's there, I know i can click to drop it.

app quick launch / app dock -
half the time when i try to drag apps to the quick launch area at the bottom it freaks out and i have to reboot to fix it.

screen saver -
has anyone messed with daydream or tried to get some kind of screensaver or auto sleep going?
I could possibly write something for this if nothing existing works.

mouse acceleration -
my gosh i hate whatever built in smoothing or acceleration I have. Is this android's deal or something else?

mouse cursor and click location -
any way to change cursor and fix the click location? On mine the click is a wee bit south-east of what feels correct (as of 1.6, i didn't really look in 1.7 as i just flashed it tonight). Also is that rom or android related?

That's about it, nothing showstopping that's why i haven't worried. And I'm truly being lazy by posting this without doing any in-depth research.
Any ideas for direction would be real cool, thanks.

In 1.6 I did resize the mouse pointer and in doing so it got it's "hot spot" off a bit. I did not touch it in 1.7 but it looks smaller so I assume Minix did the same thing and did not adjust the hot spot in the PN9 file.

oh ok so if I wanted to adjust it would I need to mod the rom or is there some way of changing it on a live system?

You can do it without flashing by modifying /system/framework/framework-res.apk

Rename this to .zip and unzip it using 7zip. Modify the graphic image with a PNG9 editor.
Put it back and rezip. done.
