    USB, external HDDs, complications

    Hi all,

I run an MK808B with a USB hub (3x external HDDs) connected to it.

Unfortunately on start up the device doesn't recognize these HDDs (mostly only one of three), thus I have to unplug and replug them manually every single time. This way it's missing the point of a smart TV entirely.

Is there any way around this?

    Input is highly appreciated.

    Thanks

Well.. a smarttv.. is just a terminal for accessing data.. stored else where (in my opinion)
--I think.. you might need a 'nas' like device..
--For your collection..So, you can access data from every/tv(s) terminal in your home

    anyway..
What 'mount' app(s) have you tried ? (g-marked has many)
    do you have 'root' ?
You could make/edit/add those HD's to your 'vold.fstab' (there are youtube vids )
are those HD's external powered? are the NTFS ? Under 3TB ? more info needed

    Goodluck..

Finless 2.1 (so, yes to root), ES file explorer, 1x 1TB, 2x 500GB (all NTFS), active USB hub.

      Does that help?
